Inking
Antique Glazing
The inking procedure creates a dark or light profile outline of the various dimensions of the doors, drawers and molding. This attention to detail lends a mystic and striking decorative element to a finely crafted set of cabinets. The inking process is hand created and is not stamped out by a machine, therefore expect less than perfect uniformity of thickness of the profile.
Expect a light, broken glaze application over the base finish to provide an uneven retention of the glaze on the profiles of doors, drawers and molding. This process will have hang up and variation due to the hardness of the grain of wood and is not intentional.

Painted Elegance produced a rich, solid finish, with a consistent and uniform color. Painted Elegance is available in a variety of trend setting colors to compliment today’s palette.
